Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a PE license to design mechanical building systems for a range of building types. You will develop HVAC designs from concept through construction, and coordinate with architecture, structure, and other disciplines, while maintaining direct client contact.

The role requires 6-8+ years in an MEP or engineering consulting environment, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and experience across commercial, public sector, and educational projects.

Qualifications

• Active PE License is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• 6-8+ years of experience in designing HVAC building systems within an MEP or engineering consulting firm.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Project experience in Commercial, Public Sector, Educational (K-12 / Higher Education), Justice, and/or Civic Projects.
• Develop HVAC designs from concept through construction completion.
