Job summary

Williams Comfort Products, LLC. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Engineering and Development team in California.

You will design heat exchangers, combustion systems, and integrated electro-mechanical HVAC components, develop assemblies and BOMs, and ensure design for manufacturing and efficiency. The role involves engineering new products and improvements, designing cabinet enclosures from sheet metal, and ensuring compliance with ASME/ANSI/CSA/UL/DNV standards, while collaborating

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical or related science.
3-5 years Mechanical Engineering experience preferred.
Must understand sheet metal, forming, complex assemblies, and integrated systems.
2+ years working with/in CAD systems; 3D modeling and assemblies; SolidWorks/CFD experience preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and process development.
Read, write, speak, and comprehend English; strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Engineering new products and improvement of current products.
Respond to a build to order manufacturing process.
Works with sheet metal to design cabinet and enclosures for HVAC equipment.
Design and integration of fan coil components, including valves, blowers, coils, and electronics.
Design in compliance with ASME, ANSI, CSA, UL and DNV standards.
Provide updates to productions staff, clients, and sales associates.
