What you will do

How will you do it

We are seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics with practical experience in HVAC piping, plumbing, pipefitting, and/or mechanical equipment service industry.

Mechanics should have experience with commercial mechanical equipment and may need to pass a skills assessment. The scope includes commercial HVACR service, partnering with Journeymen on repairs of centrifugal, steam turbines, and screw chillers. Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and replacement of commercial heating and cooling systems.

We offer factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA), with recognition, rewards, and career advancement. Our programs emphasize safety, and we provide necessary tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle.

You will deliver high-quality service, providing solutions during commissioning and aftermarket service, and identifying upselling opportunities. You will also prepare quotes supporting your recommendations.

What we look for

Required

  • Dedicated team member willing to learn and responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and aftermarket services in a growing business.
  • Membership or willingness to join a local Union.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting, including rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, and plumbing.
  • Mechanical skills such as shaft alignment and vibration troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% for customer support, installation, and repair.
  • Ability to pass a knowledge exam to demonstrate proficiency.
  • Interest in career development through training in HVAC products and sales quoting.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to write and explain technical issues clearly.
  • Ability to provide quotes and participate in our Service Plus Rewards program.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and applying skills.
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Valid driver's license, EPA refrigerant license, and applicable state or local licenses.
