Position Overview

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling, and related systems.
• Uses materials efficiently, estimates material requirements accurately.
• Interprets prints, drawings, and instructions to perform tasks or projects.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Adjusts work schedule to meet patient, staff, and departmental needs; willing to work overtime.
• Uses safety equipment and PPE when operating tools and equipment.
• Completes work orders accurately, manages paperwork, and contributes to departmental goals.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience.
• Proficient in English; good communication skills; basic computer skills.
• On-the-job training provided.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequent physical demands include carrying, pushing/pulling, twisting, bending, reaching, squatting/kneeling/crawling, wrist movements.
• Occasional demands include sitting, climbing, keyboard use, taste, and smell.
• Continuous demands include standing, walking, fine motor activities, talking, hearing.
• Lifting requirements: 50 lbs. floor to waist; 70 lbs. waist level and above.
• Sensory requirements: vision, color discrimination, depth perception, hearing.
