The North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections (NCDAC) is responsible for the care, custody, and supervision of adults sentenced after conviction for violating North Carolina laws. This includes State Prisons, Correction Enterprises, Division of Community Corrections, and Reentry Programs and Services.
We are recruiting for an HVAC Technician – ACE Team (HVAC Mechanic I) within Support Services / Division of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance (DECM). This role involves installing air conditioning systems in NCDAC institutions as part of the Construction Apprenticeship Program (CAP) and completing HVAC system installations for construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have journeyman level experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair; be able to work independently; read blueprints; and perform other duties as assigned.
