Job summary

Penn State Health Milton Hershey Medical Center is seeking an experienced HVAC maintenance technician to maintain, repair, and upgrade heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and their controls.

The role covers air-handling equipment, exhaust fans, VAV systems, furnaces, humidifiers and air filtration, with management of digital and pneumatic control systems. A high school diploma and HVAC training are required, plus 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • HVAC training required.
  • Three (3) years job related experience in residential or industrial HVAC, plumbing and mechanical trades required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair and upgrade HVAC systems and their controls.
  • Work with air-handling equipment, exhaust fans, VAV systems, furnaces, humidifiers and air filtration equipment.
  • Manage control systems for equipment, both digital and pneumatic.

Responsible for the maintenance, repair and upgrades to the heating ventilation and air conditioning systems and their associated controls. This includes air-handling equipment; exhaust fans, variable-air-volume systems, furnaces, crematories, humidifiers and air filtration equipment. Also included is the associated control systems for the equipment both digital and pneumatic.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • HVAC training required
  • Three (3) years job related experience in residential or industrial HVAC, plumbing and mechanical trades required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Operation of tractors, forklifts, bucket trucks, high lifts and other types of equipment preferred.
  • Universal Refrigeration License and EPA certification preferred.
  • CPR certification and First Aide training preferred.
  • Industrial HVAC, Plumbing and Refrigeration experience is preferred.
