Jobot is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic in Roanoke, VA to perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems. The role focuses on ensuring efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction in projects across commercial buildings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HVAC mechanic experience with knowledge of equipment, wiring and specs.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to perform basic mathematical operations quickly and accurately.
• Able to read blueprints, diagrams, schematics and other technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Start up, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements and modifications as requested.
• Coordinate on-site activities for installations and repairs to satisfy clients.
• Document work with job paperwork and maintain files using company software on a tablet.
• Stay current with manufacturers' products for installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot HVAC issues for customers.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations quickly and accurately.
• -Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and other technical documents.

• Experience operating HVAC equipment and tools, with the ability to provide and use basic hand tools as required for tasks.

Preferred candidates will

• Hold certification in sheet metal fabrication or a related field.
• Have experience with HVAC systems installation in a commercial or industrial environment.
