Overview

Commercial HVAC Service Technician role with Jobot. This position involves installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial facilities. A strong background in pipe fitting, mechanical layouts, new facility setup, on-site installation, and repair is required, with experience working with Chillers being a must. Salary range: $70,000 - $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, ensuring all work is completed to high standards of safety and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and carry out preventative maintenance.
• Work closely with clients to understand their HVAC requirements and provide expert advice and solutions.
• Prepare and read mechanical layouts and other blueprints as required.
• Utilize skills in pipe fitting and on-site installation during new facility setup.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair work on Chillers and other HVAC components.
• Keep records of all work performed and report any issues or potential problems to management.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as local and national HVAC codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician.
• Proven experience with pipe fitting, mechanical layouts, new facility setup, on-site installation, and repair.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including Chillers.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical layouts and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Physical fitness, as the job requires frequent lifting and carrying of heavy equipment.
• Certification or associate degree in HVAC from a recognized institution is preferred.
• Must be willing to participate in ongoing training and development activities.
