Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems, ensuring safety and efficiency. This role focuses on startup, calibration, and ongoing performance checks for both new and existing equipment.

You will communicate with customers, document service activities, and collaborate with installation teams to meet HWE standards. A strong English proficiency and 2+ years of HVAC experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or apprenticeship.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• 2+ years HVAC experience in start-up, commissioning, or installation.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, systems, and control systems.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and system start-up of HVAC equipment.
• Test systems, diagnose issues, and calibrate components.
• Commission systems ensuring proper integration of controls.
• Explain operation and maintenance procedures to customers.
• Document service activities and update system records.
