Job summary

Hammond Services is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician with at least 6 months of hands-on HVAC experience for work in the South Metro Atlanta area, including Austell, GA. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups on residential and light commercial systems while expanding your technical skills through ongoing mentorship.

We offer competitive pay up to $25.00 per hour based on experience, plus bonuses, paid training, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of hands-on HVAC field experience required.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and HVAC tune-ups.
• EPA Certification (Type I, II, III, or Universal) preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (minimum driving age of 22).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and customer service skills. Willingness to continue learning and advance within the company.
• Ability to work overtime as needed during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Complete seasonal tune-ups and system inspections.
• Identify maintenance concerns and recommend necessary repairs.
• Accurately document work performed using company software.
• Communicate professionally with customers while providing outstanding service.
• Work safely and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians and management to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
