Job summary

Falls of Deer Park Apartments seeks an Assistant Maintenance Technician HVAC to ensure the upkeep of the building and grounds through routine tasks and special work orders.

You will complete maintenance work orders promptly, perform apartment make-ready tasks, diagnose and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, and pool equipment, and participate in on-call emergency maintenance to keep the property running smoothly.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience — able to troubleshoot and perform basic HVAC repairs.
• HVAC Certification — must hold a valid HVAC certification and be able to perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ladder safety — must be able to climb and work from a ladder safely.
• Work order basics — must understand how to complete, update, and close work orders accurately.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.
