Call Hoover is seeking a Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician to diagnose and service home heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, ventilation, and thermostats. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and customer relationships.

You will perform safety inspections, educate homeowners on performance and maintenance needs, and prepare accurate estimates while engaging in ongoing technical and customer service training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of residential HVAC experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, ventilation systems, and thermostats.
• Perform comprehensive whole-home safety inspections (60–90 minutes per visit).
• Educate homeowners on system performance, maintenance needs, and repair recommendations.
• Recommend system upgrades, indoor air quality solutions, and preventative maintenance options when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate estimates, invoices, and documentation using ServiceTitan.
• Participate in ongoing technical and customer service training.

• Complete 3–4 maintenance appointments per day
• Maintain a 60%+ conversion rate on recommended services
• Conduct thorough safety inspections on every call

• Maintain a callback rate below 3%

Requirements
