Job summary

Veteran Air - Air Conditioning, Electric, Generators, Plumbing & Drains is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician in Tampa. The role focuses on routine maintenance, diagnostics, and preventative services for residential HVAC systems, with emphasis on safety and high-quality customer service. You will follow daily schedules, document service work, and use ServiceTitan to track conditions and performance.

A valid U.S. driver’s license and background check are required for employment.

Qualifications

• Basic HVAC knowledge is required.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Physical dexterity to perform hands-on work safely.
• Willingness to learn new methods and procedures.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean record is required.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine HVAC system maintenance to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on residential HVAC systems.
• Inspect equipment, identify potential issues, and provide customers with recommended solutions.
• Follow daily schedules, complete assigned work orders, and maintain detailed service records.
• Educate customers on best practices for maintaining their HVAC systems.
• Use ServiceTitan software to track maintenance work and document system conditions.
• Maintain compliance with HVAC codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Represent the company professionally with a positive attitude and appearance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
