Overview:
In this role, you’ll perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This position is crucial to maintaining our reputation for high-quality service and will involve direct interaction with customers to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
What you will be doing:
Perform routine preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including cleaning coils, changing filters, and inspecting electrical connections.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC system issues, such as leaks, faulty electrical connections, and performance inconsistencies.
Complete system inspections and tests to ensure functionality, safety, and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Educate customers on maintenance best practices to help improve system efficiency and longevity.
Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure all maintenance work is conducted safely and effectively.
Identify and report potential system issues to prevent future breakdowns.
Provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements to improve system performance and efficiency.
What you must have:
High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification or technical degree preferred.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
