Job summary

One Way AC and Electrical is hiring an HVAC Maintenance Technician in Houma, LA. This full-time role offers a take-home vehicle, paid training, and a pathway to grow within the company.

Expect 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime available and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups on residential and light commercial systems, document findings on a tablet, and ensure safety and customer

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Complete system inspections, seasonal tune-ups, cleaning, and performance checks.
• Identify worn components, potential system issues, and needed repairs during visits.
• Check filters, electrical components, controls, refrigerant levels, and overall operation.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete digital maintenance reports using a tablet.
• Maintain safety, quality, cleanliness and customer service standards.

What You'll Do
