The Pacific Club in Honolulu seeks an HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks for our facilities, ensuring safety, comfort, and aesthetic standards. This role supports daily maintenance, preventive tasks, and timely response to maintenance requests.

Required are 3+ years in HVAC/refrigeration, EPA 608, and the ability to use hand and power tools. Weekend/evening flexibility and a Hawaii driver’s license are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Installs, maintains, and repairs refrigeration systems, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.
• Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
• Maintains and secures a spare parts inventory, recommends purchasing of maintenance equipment and supplies as required to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues in commercial and industrial refrigeration units using testing tools and technical schematics.
• Performs regular preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems, including cleaning, component replacement, refrigerant checks, and system calibration.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and proper handling of refrigerants in accordance with applicable codes.
• May perform routine maintenance tasks as needed, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests.
• Maintainaccuraterecords of work performed and report anymajor issuesto the FacilitiesDirector.
• Ensure all work is performedin accordance withsafety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
• Assistwith event setup and teardown when necessary.
• Support the housekeeping and landscaping teams asrequired.

Position Summary:
