King & Prince Seafood Corporation is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and HVAC systems in a fast-paced industrial food manufacturing environment. The role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and urgency to support safe plant operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, refrigeration work, and interpreting blueprints, with documentation in CMMS. Shift is 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of HVAC and facility maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in the safe use of HVAC tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues accurately and efficiently.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime or emergency response as needed.

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment and related facility systems.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems using R-134a, R-410A, R-404A, and R-448A refrigerants.
• Read and interpret building drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Accurately document maintenance activities and work orders using the CMMS.
• Adhere to safety policies, GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP requirements.
• Support facility operations with additional duties and projects as assigned.

King & Prince Seafood is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and HVAC systems in a fast-paced industrial food manufacturing environment. This position requires a high level of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency to support safe and efficient plant operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all responsibilities of a Facility/HVAC Mechanic II.


• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment and related facility systems.


• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems utilizing R-134a, R-410A, R-404A, and R-448A refrigerants.


• Connect gauges, inspect system pressures, and adjust refrigerant levels as needed.


• Diagnose refrigerant leaks and perform necessary repairs.


• Replace and repair compressors, condenser and evaporator coils, fan motors, blower assemblies, and other HVAC components on units up to 25 tons.


• Braze and repair refrigeration and HVAC piping systems.


• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control-related issues on HVAC equipment.


• Work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and controller-operated HVAC systems.


• Diagnose, maintain, and repair refrigerators, ice machines, water fountains, control panel cooling units, and other related equipment.


• Read and interpret building drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.


• Accurately document maintenance activities and work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).


• Adhere to all company safety policies, quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and HACCP requirements.


• Support facility operations by completing additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of HVAC and facility maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.


• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.


• Proficiency in the safe use of HVAC and maintenance tools, equipment, and testing devices.


• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues accurately and efficiently.


• Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.


• Strong decision-making abilities with the capability to work independently.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.


• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with flexibility for overtime or emergency response as needed.
