Job summary

Meyers Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform maintenance on residential HVAC systems, identify issues early, and educate homeowners to prevent breakdowns.

You will document service notes, deliver an exceptional client experience on every visit, and grow your diagnostic and technical skills through ongoing training. EPA certification is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of residential HVAC maintenance experience.
• Experience servicing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits.
• Basic diagnostic experience (preferred).
• Believes preventative maintenance benefits homeowners.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to educate clients without pressure.
• Pride in doing quality work, not just finishing quickly.
• Positive attitude and willingness to grow.
• EPA Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and other residential comfort equipment.
• Identify potential concerns before they become costly breakdowns.
• Explain findings in a way homeowners can easily understand.
• Recommend repairs, enhancements and preventative solutions to improve comfort and extend equipment life.
• Complete accurate documentation, photos, and service notes.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience on every visit.
• Continue developing diagnostic and technical skills through ongoing training.

What You'll Do

• You’ll perform maintenance on residential HVAC equipment including: Furnaces, Air conditioners, Heat pumps, Mini-split systems, Other residential comfort equipment

What We're Looking For

You don't need to know everything, but you should be eager to learn.

We're looking for someone who has:

• At least 6 months of residential HVAC maintenance experience
• Experience servicing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits
• Basic diagnostic experience (preferred)

• 2 positions available

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $22-$26 per hour, depending on experience

Plus: Performance bonuses, Sales commissions, and spiffs

Schedule

• Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. + on-call (rotating evenings & weekends) as your tenure and experience grows (with flexible start and end times based on business needs)
