Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven hands-on HVAC experience.
• Demonstrated experience operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining critical building systems including HVAC, exhaust fans, boilers, and chillers.
• Technical proficiency with preventative maintenance programs, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Strong understanding of building automation systems and maintenance management tools.
• Knowledge of safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible scope of responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution, plumbing, and building interior/exterior components.
• Perform predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance following established programs and procedures.
• Assist in developing and improving preventative maintenance programs, schedules, and operational procedures.
• Maintain safety standards and participate in emergency response and safety training programs.
• Complete tenant service requests accurately and efficiently.
• Evaluate building systems to monitor and improve performance and efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and execute tasks in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner.
• Maintain records of maintenance and service activities using appropriate technological tools.
