Job summary

Sierra Nevada Health Care System is seeking an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and repair HVAC/R systems across the Reno campus. The role covers heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related controls within the hospital and affiliated facilities.

Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, repairing sensors and LAN devices, and ensuring reliable environmental control systems.

Qualifications

• Experience or training demonstrating ability to perform HVAC/R work.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, troubleshooting, maintaining and installing HVAC/R equipment in the hospital and ancillary buildings.
• Operating and repairing environmental control systems and related sensors, actuators, and control devices.
• Troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of HVAC/R systems, including heating, cooling, humidification, and air purification.
