Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and mechanical systems. The role requires independent work, initiative, and the ability to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on cooling towers, HVAC units, exhaust fans, heaters, air handlers, chillers, vacuum systems, and related components, including soldering, threading, piping, and pipefitting.

Qualifications

• HVAC/mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Work with cooling towers, HVAC units, exhaust fans, heaters, air handlers, chillers, air dryers, vacuum systems, and vacuum pumps.
• Perform soldering, threading, piping, and pipefitting.
• Inspect equipment to identify and correct small issues before they become major problems.
• Communicate effectively with leads and supervision regarding equipment conditions and repairs.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, including on rooftops.
