Job summary

Service Experts in Raleigh, NC seeks a field HVAC Technician to perform precision tune-ups and maintenance on heating, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment. You will inspect and diagnose to prevent breakdowns, assist the Service Technician, and ensure excellent customer service while delivering parts and equipment as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with HVAC training, EPA/safety certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional HVAC training and 0-2+ years' experience in HVAC with technical training certification preferred
• EPA and safety certifications required by local regulations
• Basic knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and ability to operate necessary tools
• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems

Responsibilities

• Perform precision tune-ups and routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and accessories
• Inspect equipment and perform limited diagnostics to prevent breakdowns/callbacks
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment needed for service work
• Record information on a handheld device and complete forms accurately
• Provide excellent customer service and promote products/services
• Communicate with dispatch to report status and availability
• Represent the company professionally and ethically in all activities
