Job summary

Service Experts Heating & AC LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking an HVAC technician to perform precision tune-ups and routine maintenance on heating and cooling equipment. You will diagnose basic issues, service accessories, and deliver excellent customer service on every call.

Responsibilities include documenting work with handheld devices, coordinating with dispatch, handling parts delivery, and staying compliant with EPA and safety standards. Flexibility for on-call shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0-2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification preferred.
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Basic knowledge of heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment and related accessories.
• Proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to operate necessary tools and equipment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine precision tune-ups and maintenance on HVAC equipment and accessories in an accurate and timely manner.
• Inspect and perform limited diagnostics on equipment to identify potential problems and prevent callbacks.
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
• Record required information on a handheld device and complete forms accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch to provide status updates and availability.
• Promote products and services to customers and identify replacement leads.
• Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are properly used and maintained.
• Follow procedures and maintain a neat, professional image on every call.
• Possibly collect payments from customers and handle on-call duties as needed.
