Job summary

HomeWorks Energy, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to install and maintain HVAC systems, perform troubleshooting, and calibrate equipment to meet safety and efficiency standards. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, system testing, and accurate service documentation.

You will collaborate with installation teams and project managers, with opportunities for growth from Service Tech I to Lead Service Tech while earning hourly compensation and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or apprenticeship preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• NATE certification is a plus.
• 2+ years HVAC experience focused on start-up, commissioning, or installation.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, systems, and controls.
• Proficiency with reading, writing and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and system start-up for HVAC units.
• Test systems, troubleshoot, and commission to ensure proper operation.
• Explain operation and troubleshooting steps to customers; document activities accurately.
• Collaborate with installation teams and project managers; follow safety guidelines.
• Shadow junior technicians and participate in on-the-job training as needed.
• Travel to job sites and work in attics, basements, and rooftops as required.
