Job summary

Aspen Square Management in Monroe, OH is seeking a versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on completing work orders, keeping HVAC systems in top condition, and preparing apartments for new residents.

You will collaborate with maintenance and office staff to uphold property standards, maintain curb appeal, provide excellent resident service, and participate in on-call rotations. A strong background in property maintenance and EPA licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in property management.
• EPA licensure is required.
• Hands-on HVAC system expertise.
• Must be able to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies as scheduled.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including repairs and preventive upkeep.
• Prepare apartments for new residents, make ready’s, and punch lists.
• Collaborate with maintenance and office teams to uphold property standards.

Position Description:

• Complete assigned work orders promptly and efficiently


• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, performing repairs and preventive upkeep


• Prepare apartments for new residents, make ready’s, and punch list


• Collaborate closely with our maintenance and office teams to uphold property standards


• Uphold the visual appeal of the property, maintaining its curb appeal


• Provide top-notch customer service to our residents


• All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience (prior experience in property management or housing is advantageous)


• Hold EPA licensure


• Demonstrate hands-on expertise with HVAC systems


• Ability to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies as scheduled


• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to and from work, ability to go off-site


• Provide own hand tools


• Essential functions of the position regularly require the ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time, the ability to operate equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
