Job summary

Aspen Square Management in Monroe, OH is seeking a versatile Jack-of-all-Trades technician to join our maintenance team. You will promptly complete work orders, perform routine HVAC maintenance, prepare apartments for new residents, and help uphold property standards.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of maintenance experience, EPA licensure, hands-on HVAC skills, a valid driver’s license, and your own hand tools. The role requires on-call duties and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience; property management housing experience preferred.
• EPA licensure is required.
• Hands-on HVAC systems experience and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Own hand tools required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, with repairs and preventive upkeep.
• Prepare apartments for new residents and punch list items.
• Collaborate with maintenance and office teams to uphold property standards.
• Maintain curb appeal and overall visual appeal of the property.

Position Description:

• Complete assigned work orders promptly and efficiently
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, performing repairs and preventive upkeep
• Prepare apartments for new residents, make ready’s, and punch list
• Collaborate closely with our maintenance and office teams to uphold property standards
• Uphold the visual appeal of the property, maintaining its curb appeal
• Provide top-notch customer service to our residents
• All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience (prior experience in property management or housing is advantageous)
• Hold EPA licensure
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise with HVAC systems
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies as scheduled
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to and from work, ability to go off-site
• Provide own hand tools
• Essential functions of the position regularly require the ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time, the ability to operate equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
