Job summary

Miami University, located in Oxford, OH, seeks a Maintenance Planning Specialist (HVAC) to plan, organize, and control a defined portion of campus maintenance operations. You will oversee long-term and daily planning, and scheduling of maintenance activities for HVAC systems, maintaining accurate equipment inventories.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The role emphasizes PM program development, CMMS data integrity, and collaboration with campus staff to ensure safe, reliable

Qualifications

• Nine months training beyond high school in a relevant trade and three years of experience in a relevant trade, or an equivalent combination.
• Valid driver\'s license and the ability to be a qualified driver under the University\'s policies.
• May require certificate of specialized training for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Direct, focus, guidance, support, prioritization and oversight for a section of a planned maintenance program.
• Ensure equipment and systems data are entered and maintained in CMMS; develop detailed maintenance procedures; prepare daily work schedules.
• Develop a preventive maintenance program; maintain equipment history.
• Verify parts and/or materials needed for completion of scheduled work; assemble the planned job package and prints.
