Job summary

Miami University in Oxford, OH is seeking a Maintenance Planning Specialist (Energy Systems) to plan, coordinate, and schedule preventive, predictive, corrective, and planned maintenance for our Energy Systems operation.

The role maintains CMMS data, develops job plans and PM procedures, coordinates materials and resources, and collaborates with leadership, supervisors, and contractors to ensure work is properly identified, prioritized, and documented. On-site with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Requires nine months training beyond high school in a relevant trade and three years of experience or equivalent.
• Driver's license may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules preventive, predictive, corrective, and planned maintenance activities for Energy Systems.
• Develops detailed maintenance job plans, PM procedures, and bills of material.
• Maintains CMMS records, equipment history, and PM schedules.
• Coordinates parts, materials, and outages; works with supervisors and contractors.
• Tracks maintenance performance indicators and supports long-term planning.
