Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Maintenance Lead in Tampa, FL to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and related equipment, coordinating day-to-day activities for assigned agreements or projects. The role emphasizes timely, cost-effective delivery of contractual commitments.

The compensation ranges from $28.00 to $36.00 per hour, with eligibility for company incentive or bonus programs based on performance and location. A comprehensive benefits package is offered by ABM.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license.
• High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required.
• One year of HVAC or mechanical technician experience is preferred.
• One year of lead or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts
• Handle heavy workload of calls
• Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return
• Manage workload and job scheduling
• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork
• Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs)
• Keep manager informed of customer feedback
• Communicate effectively and promptly
• Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team
• Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company
• When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups
• Report team performance issues to the Supervisor
