Job summary

ABM Industries in Dallas is seeking a Maintenance Lead to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and related equipment, while coordinating day-to-day aspects of specific agreements or projects to meet contractual commitments on time and cost-effectively. Qualifications

HVAC or mechanical technician experience preferred.
Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older; valid, unexpired drivers license; HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts.
Handle heavy workload of calls.
Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return.
Manage workload and job scheduling.
Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork.
Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs).
Keep manager informed of customer feedback.
Communicate effectively and promptly.
Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team.
Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company.
When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups.
Report team performance issues to the Supervisor.
