Job summary

ABM Industries in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and related equipment, coordinating projects to meet contracts with cost efficiency. You will handle heavy workload of calls, manage scheduling, complete paperwork, obtain signatures, and collaborate across departments.

A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required; HVAC experience and leadership exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license.
• High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of equipment knowledge.
• Handle heavy workload of calls.
• Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return.
• Manage workload and job scheduling.
• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork.
• Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs).
• Keep manager informed of customer feedback.
• Communicate effectively and promptly.
• Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team.
• Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company.
• When the Supervisor is present, lead smaller work groups.
• Report team performance issues to the Supervisor.
