Job summary

ABM Industries in Las Vegas is seeking a Maintenance Lead to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and related equipment. This role coordinates day-to-day activities to meet contractual commitments, with an hourly pay range of $28–$35.

The position welcomes candidates entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education, and ABM emphasizes a veteran-friendly environment. Training and on-the-job learning are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• One (1) year of similar work experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts
• Handle heavy workload of calls
• Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return
• Manage workload and job scheduling
• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork
• Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs)
• Keep manager informed of customer feedback
• Communicate effectively and promptly
• Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team
• Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company
• When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups
• Report team performance issues to the Supervisor
