Job summary

American Avenue Property Management LLC. is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician in Pittsburgh, PA. You will lead residential HVAC maintenance across single-family rentals, diagnosing and repairing systems with minimal supervision and documenting your work in our app.

Requirements include EPA Universal certification, 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, and owning your own truck/van with tools. A quarterly bonus, mileage reimbursement, and health coverage are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on residential HVAC diagnostics and repair.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• Own truck/van and hand tools; tools reimbursed and mileage paid.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units, mini-splits).
• Handle refrigerant work including leak detection, recovery, and charging (EPA 608).
• Troubleshoot thermostats, condensers, blower motors, capacitors, and boards.
• Possibly perform full system installs and change-outs.
