Job summary

American Avenue Property Management LLC seeks an HVAC Residential Maintenance Technician to lead service for Akron single-family rentals. Diagnose, repair, and install systems with minimal supervision using company-approved routes.

You must have EPA Universal, 3+ years of HVAC experience, and own a truck/hand tools. Benefits include guaranteed 40 hours, $0.76/mile reimbursement, quarterly bonus, health coverage, and 2 weeks PTO to start.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal certification required.
• 3+ years hands-on residential HVAC diagnostics and repair.
• Own truck/van and hand tools; reimbursement applies.
• Valid driver’s license; reside near Akron.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (split, heat pumps, furnaces).
• Perform refrigerant work (EPA 608) including leak detection and charging.
• Handle thermostats, condensers, blower motors, and electrical/plumbing tasks as needed.
• Document work with photos in the app; manage multi-trade days and move-ins/move-outs.
