Job summary

Wrench Group is seeking an HVAC Lead Installer in Oklahoma City to install and replace HVAC systems, including ductwork and rooftop units, while maintaining company vehicles and stock. You will coordinate with dispatch, design efficient ducting, and talk with homeowners to address concerns and upsell where appropriate.

The role requires a valid HVAC Journeyman license and 2+ years of refrigeration experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC Journeyman License required to be a Lead.
• 2+ years' experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Minimum Tool Requirements: basic hand tools and duct tools.
• Knowledge of testing equipment: refrigerant gauges, manometer, magnahelic, CO detector, psychrometer, micron gauge.

Responsibilities

• Install/Replace HVAC equipment including ductwork, attic and rooftop units (gas or heat pump).
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle.
• Maintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Travel to job sites and coordinate with dispatch to keep schedule and inform customers of delays.
• Design duct systems for optimal comfort and efficiency.
• Engage with homeowners to uncover concerns or interests regarding their AC system.
• Generate invoices and process payments at job site and electronically.
• Participate in company training on customer service and industry technologies.
• Mentor apprentices and entry-level installers.
