Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking an LCU/HVAC Electrical Engineer to design and deliver technical training on Sungrow’s cooling, inverter, and battery systems. The role focuses on enabling field engineers, vendor partners, and customers to understand design, operation, commissioning, and troubleshooting while collaborating with engineering and service teams.

The ideal candidate delivers technical training, develops documentation, and supports hands-on demonstrations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical/ Electronics/ HVAC/ Renewable Energy).
EPA Section 608 Certification (preferred/required).
Valid HVAC Technician Certification or equivalent qualification.
Minimum two years of engineering, technical support, or training experience.
Experience delivering technical training in renewable energy a plus.
Excellent written and spoken communication, and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver training programs on Sungrow's LCU, HVAC, ESS, PCS, and inverter tech.
Provide onsite commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
Travel to customer sites up to 50% for hands-on training and support.
Create technical documentation and update training materials.
Collaborate with Product Engineering, R&D, and Service teams for program improvements.
Support field demonstrations, product validation, and engineering investigations.
Capture field feedback to improve product reliability and service processes.
Assist the Training Center with demos and development of training content.
