Broward College is seeking a Journeyman HVAC Technician for the Central Campus. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on a full-time basis with a third shift schedule.
The candidate should have a high school diploma, five+ years of related experience, and relevant certifications including Mechanical Journeyman and EPA Freon. Driver's license is required by Florida standards.
Under limited supervision, the incumbent will demonstrate the ability to safely perform Journeyman level tasks in the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment and systems. ----------- This position allows eligible veterans and their spouses to claim Veterans’ Preference pursuant to Florida Statute 295.
