Qualifications

• 5 years experience in Commercial/Industrial HVAC or equivalent.
• EPA Universal preferred but not required.
• Low voltage license and pressure vessel license preferred.
• Apprentice or Tradesman level 1–5 years experience in HVAC/refrigeration.

Job description

Position Summary

As a Mechanical Service Technician you will perform all HVACR necessary to keep existing facilities and systems within those facilities operating in an efficient manner. This work can include the inspection, service, maintenance, start-up, testing, balancing, adjusting, repair, modification and replacement of mechanical and refrigeration equipment and components including related piping connections and controls. In addition, any other service, maintenance and operations work as assigned by the customer as well as work on any temporary systems. Southland Industries is a signatory contractor of local union 286. We are ideally looking for someone currently located in the Portland Metropolitan area.

Roles and Responsibilities

• HVAC/R Mechanical Service Technician- Service Journeyman

• 5 years experience Performing some or all of the above

• Knowledge of Packaged units, Vrf systems, Ductless mini splits, Chiller and Cooling Towers, Boilers, VAV’s preferred

• EPA Universal

• Low voltage license (Preferred)

• Pressure vessel license (Preferred)

• HVAC/R Mechanical Service Technician- Apprentice or Tradesman

• 1-5 years of Commercial/ Industrial HVAC

• 1-5 years of Commercial/ Industrial Refrigeration

• EPA Universal (Preferred)
