Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a full-time HVAC Journeyman in Seattle, WA. You will diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including chillers, rooftops, and water-source systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, mentoring apprentices, documenting service activities, and delivering safe, efficient operation. A valid driver's license, union journeyman status, and HVAC certification are required, with on-site work and

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Accepted as Journeyman by the union.
High School Diploma or GED.
Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Rotational Emergency Call Support.
Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial HVAC equipment onsite in Seattle, including chillers, rooftops and water-source systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to prevent unplanned outages.
Lead apprentices and assist with on-site training.
Document service activities, parts used, and timekeeping for billing and inventory.
Adhere to safety policies and OSHA guidelines while maintaining clean work areas.
