Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC Journeyman to service commercial and industrial equipment in Fargo, ND onsite. You will work on rooftop units, chillers, water source heat pumps, and more, with comprehensive on-the-job training and opportunities to mentor apprentices.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 5+ years of related experience or equivalent, and an active Journeyman status by the union. EPA certification preferred and OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree or HVAC certification preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Journeyman via union. Valid driver's license.
• EPA universal certification preferred; OSHA 10 preferred.
• First aid/CPR card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and test HVAC systems including chillers, rooftop units, air handling units, water source heat pumps, and boilers.
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Inspect equipment to identify and prevent failures and callbacks.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Conduct warranty service inspections and verify functionality of systems.
