Job summary

Daikin Applied in Fargo, ND is hiring a full-time HVAC Journeyman to service a range of commercial and industrial equipment, including rooftops, chillers, and boilers. You will perform diagnostics, replacements, and preventive maintenance while working under the terms of the local union contract.

You will lead apprentices, participate in on-the-job training, and ensure safety and quality standards on every job site. A strong commitment to customer service and technical excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree or HVAC certification preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Journeyman status by union required.
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Service and inspect HVAC equipment including chillers, rooftops, fan coils, and boilers.
• Repair or replace defective components to restore function.
• Perform diagnostics, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Lead apprentices and mentor junior technicians on site.
• Document billing, timecards, and service reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and OSHA guidelines on every job.
