Job summary

GreenSavers in Bend, OR is seeking an entry-level HVAC installer to support residential HVAC and water-heating installations. You will complete foundational tasks with direction and grow toward greater independence through hands-on training and clear advancement expectations.

You will prepare sites, stage materials, and perform finish-work under supervision, while learning installation standards and documenting progress. This role offers hands-on growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 certification or ability to obtain it promptly.
• About 1+ year of related field experience, HVAC training, or demonstrated trainee-level skills.
• Working knowledge of common hand and power tools and jobsite safety.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to follow plans and direction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and changing weather.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; basic electrical, sheet-metal, plumbing, or Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and protect jobsites, stage materials, and support equipment removal and placement.
• Complete assigned line-set, condensate, pad, strapping, duct, and finish-work tasks.
• Use tools safely and keep the truck, work area, and materials organized.
• Complete required photos, checklists, and closeout documentation.
• Learn installation standards and ask for help when a task is outside your current scope.
