Job summary

Evergreen Plumbing, Heating & Air – Salem, OR is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Install Technician to lead residential installation projects. You will install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components, reading plans, and ensuring code compliance.

You’ll collaborate with the Comfort Advisor and operations team, mentor junior installers, maintain tools and vehicles, and uphold safety and quality standards in every job.

Qualifications

• 4 years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems.
• Read and interpret installation plans and manufacturer specifications.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in crawl spaces, attics, and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret installation plans and manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure installations meet all local codes and safety standards.
• Test systems to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Maintain clean and professional job sites.
• Communicate with customers professionally and explain system operation when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with installers, service technicians, and office staff.
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment.
