Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of HVAC installation experience.
- Residential HVAC installation experience.
- Commercial HVAC installation experience preferred.
- Experience with replacements, renovations, retrofits, and/or new construction.
- Experience with heating/cooling equipment, ductwork, and ductless systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented with professional communication.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather.
- EPA certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial HVAC systems, including ducted/ductless setups.
- Work on high-end custom homes, new construction, replacements, and retrofits.
- Start up systems, test operations, and troubleshoot issues.
- Coordinate with builders and management to maintain schedule and quality.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and professional conduct on site.

Grille Mechanical Contractors is hiring experienced HVAC Installers and Lead HVAC Installers to join our growing team serving Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
We are a family-owned and operated HVAC contractor that has proudly served New Jersey for more than 40 years. Our installation team works on a wide variety of projects, from residential replacements and commercial fit-outs to new construction and high-end custom homes throughout the Jersey Shore.
We're looking for installers who take pride in their craftsmanship, pay attention to the details, and want steady, year-round work with a company where good people are valued and have opportunities to grow.
- Residential and commercial HVAC installations
- High-end custom homes and new construction
- Complete system replacements and change-outs
- Heating and air conditioning equipment
- Ducted and ductless systems
- Sheet metal and ductwork installations
- Commercial tenant fit-outs and renovations

- System startups, testing, and troubleshooting
- Equipment replacements and upgrades
This isn't just repetitive change-out work. Our team works with established builders and customers throughout the Jersey Shore on projects where quality, cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail matter.
We're looking for experienced installers who can contribute immediately while continuing to develop their skills and take on additional responsibility.

Our Lead Installers do more than install equipment. You'll take ownership of the job, lead your crew, communicate with builders and management, and make sure projects stay on schedule and meet Grille Mechanical's quality standards.
- 5+ years of HVAC installation experience
- Ability to independently run residential and commercial HVAC installation projects
- Strong new-construction HVAC experience
- Experience leading helpers or installation crews
- Ability to plan work, identify material needs, and keep projects moving
- Experience communicating directly with builders, contractors, customers, and company leadership
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, system startups, and troubleshooting
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Professional and dependable in high-end customer environments
- EPA certification
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Experience with boilers, refrigeration, commercial HVAC, and high-end custom residential construction is a plus.
