Job summary

Five Star Charleston Heating and Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Technician to install residential and commercial heating and cooling systems to company standards, ensuring a high quality customer experience on every job.

The role rewards hands-on mastery, teamwork, and reliability, with per-piece pay plus hourly base, benefits, uniforms, and opportunities for growth as you demonstrate leadership and safety on job sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HVAC installation experience.
• EPA certification required; NATE a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills.
• Willingness to train and participate in seminars.
• Own hand tools and ability to use ladders safely.
• Neat appearance and team player.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and commercial HVAC systems to company standards.
• Assist with training install helper technicians.
• Provide feedback to Service Manager on training needs and pricing.
• Follow training programs for install department as directed.
• Background check and drug test after conditional offer.

Job Title:

HVAC Install Technician

Work start time:

7:30 am - 5 pm

Pay Scale:

Per- piece Pay for install work. Hourly Pay and bonus pay from $30-$55.00 per hour depending on experience + benefits

Position Summary:

To provide installation of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Assist with training install helper Technicians. Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding technical training needs, inventory and retail pricing. Follow training programs for the install department as needed and directed.

The Perfect Candidate:

• Can COMMUNICATE CLEARLY with customers and fellow employees
• Has 3+ Years of HVAC Experience (Residential & Light Commercial)
• EPA Certification (NATE a Plus!)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and Customer Service Skills
• A Leader Who Can Work Independently & With a Team
• Valid Driver's License & Clean Record
• Willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes.
• Work from 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder.
• Neat and clean appearance and ability to assist other techs and share info
• Own your own hand tools
