Job summary

Five Star Charleston Heating and Air in North Charleston, SC, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Tech to join as a right-hand leader. You will diagnose and repair residential and light commercial systems while growing the business and delivering top-notch service.

Must have 3+ years HVAC experience, EPA certification, clean driving record, and the ability to work independently or with the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ Years of HVAC Experience (Residential & Light Commercial)
• EPA Certification (NATE a Plus)
• Strong Troubleshooting & Customer Service Skills
• A Leader Who Can Work Independently & With a Team
• Valid Driver's License & Clean Record

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards.
• Assist with training Service Technicians.
• Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding technical training needs, inventory and retail pricing.
• Develop training programs for the service department as needed and directed.

Work start and end time: 7:30 until 5 and some on-call

Pay Scale: hourly rate of $30.00 to $49.00 per hour DOE + benefits + Commissions + spiffs

Service Tech Position Summary: To provide diagnosis and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards while providing the customer with a high quality experience. Assist with training Service Technicians. Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding technical training needs, inventory and retail pricing. Develop training programs for the service department as needed and directed.
