Job summary

HI-VAC Air Conditioning Service is seeking an HVAC Installer in Sunrise, FL to perform residential and light commercial retrofit and changeout installs, including ducted and ductless systems. You will read wiring diagrams, test and balance the systems, and advise customers on equipment and IAQ accessories.

Requirements include EPA Universal Certification, 2+ years in installation, and a valid driver’s license. Company benefits and growth opportunities are available with a family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification required.
• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Obtain Installer based NATE Certifications and keep status current.

Responsibilities

Job Title: HVAC Installer

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 8:00am to 5:00pm | occasional overtime

Position Overview

• Residential and light commercial retrofit / changeout installs
• Installations include ducted and ductless equipment
• Installing Gas Pipe
• Installing Refrigeration Pipe
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Test and balance systems
• Consult with customer on equipment and indoor air quality accessories

Qualifications

• Valid driver's licenses and insurable driving record
• EPA Universal Certification
• 2 + years of HVAC Installation experience
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems
• General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems
• Obtain all Installer based NATE Certifications and keep status current
• Ability to test and balance systems
• High school diploma or its equivalent

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.

Salary: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
