Job summary

HI-VAC Air Conditioning Service is seeking an HVAC Installer for residential retrofit/changeout and light commercial work in South Florida, featuring ducted and ductless installations with Trane equipment.

You will read wiring diagrams, test and balance systems, and advise customers on indoor air quality accessories; EPA/NATE certifications, 2+ years of install experience, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• Proficient in HVAC design and installation of ductwork.
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, and trouble shooting.

Responsibilities

• Residential and light commercial retrofit/changeout installs.
• Install ducted and ductless equipment.
• Install gas and refrigeration pipes.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Test and balance systems.
• Consult with customers on equipment and indoor air quality accessories.

Job Title: HVAC Installer

Residential retrofit / Changeout, and light commercial teams. We are a high-tech company installing top of the line Trane equipment!

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 8:00am to 5:0pm | occasional overtime

Position Overview:

• Residential and light commercial retrofit / changeout installs
• Installations include ducted and ductless equipment
• Installing Gas Pipe
• Installing Refrigeration Pipe
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Test and balance systems
• Consult with customer on equipment and indoor air quality accessories

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's licenses and insurable driving record
• EPA Universal Certification
• 2 + years of HVAC Installation experience
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems
• General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems
• Obtain all Installer based NATE Certifications and keep status current
• Ability to test and balance systems
• High school diploma or its equivalent

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
