Terry's Heating and Air Conditioning in Twin Falls, Idaho, is hiring an HVAC Installation Technician Trainee to join the installation team. You will learn on the job, support experienced installers, and develop the skills to complete residential and light commercial installations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn the HVAC trade.

• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini split systems, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Help install duct systems, refrigerant piping, gas lines, venting, and electrical components.
• Prepare tools, equipment, and materials before each installation.
• Load and unload equipment safely at job sites.
• Assist with equipment startup, operational testing, and final system checks.
• Learn proper installation methods, manufacturer requirements, and company quality standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout each project.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and fellow team members.
• Follow company safety procedures and job site expectations.
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and installation skills

Position Overview
