Job Description

The HVAC Installer is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential buildings. This includes full system replacements, new construction installations, ductwork, and related components. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and committed to doing quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install new HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini splits, and associated ductwork
2. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
3. Perform start-ups and basic system testing. Ensure installations are completed according to code and manufacturer specifications
4. Maintain a clean and organized job site
5. Communicate clearly with team members, project managers, and customers
6. Provide excellent customer service during and after installation
7. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order
8. Follow safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of HVAC installation experience; EPA certification required (Type II or Universal)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on roofs
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
